30 Under 30 List: One Down!

I have had a "Thirty under Thirty" list in the back of my mind since I first heard of the idea back in college, when THIRTY YEARS seemed unbelievably old.  I keep meaning to add items to it, but keep coming back to two major goals to complete before my thirtieth birthday (November 8, 2013, for those of you wondering).  Clearly I need to add 28 more, but here's where I start:

1) Go to Africa

2) Learn to apply makeup properly

3 - 30) TBD

One goal on there seems easier than the other, right?  Most normal girls my age know their way around a MAC store and have well-equipped makeup bags, but it's just something I never learned to do well.  I always make Jaisa try to teach me when we're together but I usually get distracted and then we go to get a drink instead. 

I am, however, excited to announce that I have finally hit one of these lofty goals.  Take a sneak peak while I'm unpacking and doing laundry...

    Wow amazing I would love to be able to go to Africa one day. I am with you on the makeup I still do not know how to apply it flawless, I have eye shadows that I have received as gifts but I just cannot apply them like some other girls out there.
    I have even thought about taking make up lessons. I am going to be 34 this year and let's just say that now is when I really need to know more about makeup and how to conceal a couple of wrinkles :)

      Hahaha, me too. I could definitely use some lessons in wrinkle hiding! Let me know if you end up taking a class... be sure to share your tips!
