Whether intentional or not, this gift reminds me of the gorgeous locket Melissa wore on her wedding day. It belonged to her great-grandmother:
Melissa wrapped our lockets up beautifully for each of us. Inside each locket had a note ("With love from Melissa") and a lilac flower from her parents' beautiful yard. I love the personalized touch.
Her bridesmaids ranged in age and style preferences, but this classic piece can work for hipster to city mom to environmentalist chic. I wear mine almost every day. But since the flower has browned slightly (I should have photographed this back in May!), I think it's time for me to put a few of my own photos in (Jaisa suggested putting in two pictures of my cats).
