As mentioned last Friday, I ordered a custom onesie ages ago for this shower. This cute little blue number is a shoutout to our college town where the parents-to-be met.
I rolled up the onesie, wrapped it with my other gifts, and drove up to Maine to celebrate!
The shower was at Holly's aunt's house and was so cute & festive.
Above are the napkins - pretty & preppy & very New England. The napkins give you a feel for the shower's color scheme. I loved that it was clearly a shower for a little boy but it didn't feel like you were drowning in baby blue.
The star of the shower besides, of course, the mother-to-be, were the desserts. Check out this little fondant baby on the cake...
...and three tiers of delicious cupcakes!
Hope you all are having a great long weekend! Happy President's Day & stay hungry!

I'm pretty sure you win at baby showering - that onesie is ADORABLE.

Beautiful presents, what a lucky baby! I'm going to sound slightly ridiculous here, but I find that cake a little creepy!Rx

The onsie is such a cute idea Caitlin......I'm so copying that!! We have four babies due in the next few months in my family!! I know what I'm gettin. Lol. :-) Did you have any luck finding the heart wreath at Marshalls?!?!
ReplyDeleteWell, may I suggest entering our giveaway from Friday? That can help with one of those onesies :)
DeleteAnd no, no luck at Marshall's. They have moved out the Valentine's Day stuff for St. Patty's and Easter stuff. Oh well... better luck next year!
