Anthropologie's "Wedding Registry"

I would be lying if I said that the wedding registry wasn't one of my favorite things about the wedding planning process.  Running around with a gun scanning whatever I need?  Okay.

Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Macy's - you know the usual suspects.  They are your old faithfuls, where you will go to get your essentials.  But what about those cute little items that make your house your home?

Enter:  Anthropologie.  Had I known of Anthro's "registry" I would have registered for this.  Instead, my mother-in-law Nancy got this for me for Christmas to hold all of my new utensils.  Isn't it gorgeous?

It's little touches like these that will make your space more you and more unique.  I'm not saying register for everything at Anthro, but maybe a few special pieces here and there.  Also, don't forget about their adorable house section if you are looking for a unique shower gift!

To create a registry at Anthro:

1)  Create an account
2)  Under your account, click on "Wish List"
3)  Name your wish list and mark your wedding date
4)  In the options make your wish list public
4)  Add items to your wish list and let your friends and family know :)

My friend Lauren who is getting married in May just tipped me off to this.  What an awesome idea.  Maybe I need to plan a second wedding.  Whoa who said that?

Any other good registry ideas out there?  Let us know and stay homey!
