two CDs
scissors
round glass ornament
hot glue
ribbon
Cut up the CD into small chunks and glue the shards, piece by piece, onto your ornament (note: maybe this project isn't so kid-friendly):
Cover the ornament in the pieces of CD until it's covered...
Whoa! That is one awesome ornament!!! What a fantastic idea! Thanks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeleteThis turned out so beautiful! What a great way to recycle old CD's!
ReplyDeleteThanks, ladies. I think this is one of my favorites that I've made so far, and so easy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a very fun idea! I love the way it looks. When you get them all glued on, are there sharp edges from the CD?
ReplyDeleteHi Shiloh - because the pieces are so small and they're glued so close (and the ball is rounded), you'd have to work hard to hurt yourself on this!
ReplyDeleteI love this can't wait to destroy some stuff and make some stuff! Thanks for sharing!
